There are many benefits of the Doggy Daycare experience:
- Dogs whose owners work full days can become bored at home and get into mischief leading to permanent unacceptable behaviors.
- Dogs crated for long periods of time on a regular basis can become depressed and/or develop health issues.
- Socialization with other dogs makes for a friendlier dog out in public and with guests in your home.
- Daycare prepares dogs for dog park experiences.
- Plus many more!!!!
A typical day in Doggy Daycare:
- Most dogs arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 Am.
- Each arriving dog is ushered into the yard and taken off their leash to sniff, etc.
- Dogs from inside are taken outside one at a time for a supervised "meet and greet" of the new arrival.
- Once all of the dogs are together and calm prevails, all go inside for toy testing, games of chase/fetch/tug of war, etc.
- Potty breaks about every 15 minutes early on and tapering off to every 45 minutes unless otherwise needed.
- Treat time twice a day, Am and Pm
- Two fenced areas for potty and play time outdoors.
If you are interested in the Doggy Daycare experience for your pet(s):
There is an application and some other paper work to be completed.
An appointment for a "temperament test" will provide a look into how you pet likes the experience.
Once accepted into the program, a set schedule or intermittent days may be reserved.
You can prepay for a discount on a package or pay for a single day at time of arrival.
